Text Messaging Capability
|
Campaign Manager is adding the ability to send Text Messages to any patient with a cell phone number on file.
This is made possible by using the Proximiti SMS Gateway for Text Message delivery.
In previous versions the practice would need to have the mobile carrier for each patient receiving a text message, which will no longer be required.
|
|
This will enable you to run Text only campaigns or add Text Messaging to existing Voice and Email campaigns.
To enable Text Messaging, edit the Destination section of a Campaign and enable the Text checkbox and set priority for Text Messaging as shown below:
Please contact Proximiti Customer Care for assistance with Text Messaging setup and configuration.

Item Selection From Lists (AdvancedMD)
|
Previously, adding filter values to the Parameters section of each Campaign required manual entry by the practice in a list form.
In the upcoming release, Campaign Manager will automatically retrieve the relevant lists from AdvancedMD, allowing you point and click access to make selections.
This saves time and effort, and reduces the possibility of errors.
The following parameter lists will now be available:
- Provider Codes
- Appointment Status Codes
- Appointment Types
- Columns

Improved Appointment Activity Results Posting (AdvancedMD)
|
A new Campaign Settings page has been added to allow for customized updates to the AdvancedMD schedule based on Campaign results.
Practices can customize the way Confirm and Cancel requests are posted to AdvancedMD, and enable updates to appointments that are not explicitly Confirmed or Cancelled.
Campaign Settings page example:
Presently, Campaign Manager posts only the following appointment activity information to Advanced MD
- If a patient specifically Confirms an appointment, then the appointment is Confirmed in AdvancedMD with Method "By Proximiti".
- If a patient specifically Cancels an appointment, the appointment is Cancelled in AdvancedMD with Reason "Proximiti"
- If the patient does not specifically Confirm or Cancel, then no updates are made.
The new approach is as follows:
- If a patient specifically Confirms an appointment:
-
The appointment is Confirmed with the Method value specified by the practice.
The default is "By Proximiti", but any Method can be added to AdvancedMD and then selected on the Campaign Settings page.
-
A comment will be added.
The default comment will be Campaign Manager’s short description (for example, "Appointment Confirmed").
The practice may elect to use a message of their choice in lieu of the short description.
- If a patient specifically Cancels an appointment:
-
The appointment is Cancelled with the Reason value specified by the practice.
The default reason will be "Proximiti", but any Reason can be added to AdvancedMD and then selected on the Campaign Settings page.
-
A comment will be added.
The default comment will be Campaign Manager’s short description (for example, "Appointment Cancelled").
The practice may elect to use a message of their choice in lieu of the short description.
- If the patient does not specifically Confirm or Cancel, then:
-
A comment will be added.
The default comment will be Campaign Manager’s short description (for example, "Call - Partial Delivery, "Msg Delivered", "No Answer", etc).
The practice may elect to use a message of their choice in lieu of the short description.
-
The practice will have the option to Confirm certain appointments even though the patient did not explicitly Confirm them.
These appointments will have a delivery status of either "Success" or "Possible Success".
The default action is to not Confirm these appointments.
Enabled flag: Enables updates to AdvancedMD for the selected message result category.
Status: Value added to AdvancedMD appointment Comments.
Status Override: Allows for custom Comments value to be posted to AdvancedMD in place of Status value.
Confirm flag: Post this result as Confirmed in AdvancedMD, even when not explicitly Confirmed by Patient.
